Follow these care tips to save time and money, and keep your handmade crochet scarf in the best condition.
When dry, store your fashion accessories in a moth protected environment. A lavender sachet is okay, but mothballs aren’t recommended for care.
Do Not Dry Clean.
Hand wash your crochet scarf in cold water with mild soap and care. To remove the excess water by rolling up loosely in a clean, dry towel and gently press down with hands.
To avoid bleeding soak in water with 1/4 cup of white vinegar for at least 30 minutes, as many times as necessary, until it stops bleeding.
Reshape, lay flat to dry in a shaded place.
Bright light can fade colors.
Do not hang to dry.
To reduce pilling on fashion accessories, add 1 drop of glycerine to the water for handwashing and drying.
