Hi, I'm Kelly!
A Fiber Artist with a passion for crochet. Spirit & Flow is my practice of finding joy, calm, and peace in the world.
In 2013, my Mama died by suicide; it shook me. I was devastated. I found light in the darkness thanks to a beautiful circle of family, friends, mental health counseling, and meditative practices.
One of these practices is crochet. The meditative rhythm of crochet helps with serotonin release, which helps regulate mood.
As a child, I loved to crochet. But as I got older, life just happened, and I let the art and practice go. Then, one day, several years ago, the spirit just hit me! I picked up a crochet hook and some yarn and just began.
On most occasions, I start to create without a specific outcome in mind. Creations begin taking shape, and the result comes from the flow—the flow of being inspired by the colors and textures that surround me.
On the occasions when I am inspired by or use another artist's pattern it is noted in the product descriptions.
A love of nature, cultural heritage, creating, and the art of crochet are parts of my identity. I enjoy sharing these passions with others.
